How we verify
Most education directories copy a fee once and never look at it again. We date every fact and show you where it came from, including when the answer is that we do not know.
What the green tick means
A verified badge means one specific thing: we matched this institution to its record in a government register on the date shown, and the identifier on the page is the one that register holds. It is not a quality rating, an endorsement, or a statement that every figure on the page is current — each figure carries its own date for exactly that reason.
Where our information comes from

When information goes stale
A figure older than twelve months is greyed out and flagged on the page rather than presented as current. We would rather show you an obvious gap than a confident wrong number.
Reviews
A review only counts toward a rating if the writer proved they were enrolled — a fee receipt, an identity card, or an institutional email address. That proof is held privately and never published. Reviews without proof may still appear, clearly marked, but never affect the score.
What money cannot buy
Institutions can pay for a richer profile and for clearly labelled featured placement. Paying never changes an institution's position in an ordinary list, and never changes its rating.
Getting it wrong
We will get things wrong. Anyone can report an error on any page, and any institution can claim its page and submit corrections. Corrections to fees and approvals are checked against the source before they go live.
